Five Interesting Things I Came Across This Week

sup friends 👋🏼,

I’ve been thinking a lot about what ‘PMF’ (product market-fit) means for startups in emerging tech (blockchain, AI etc).

The first link of the week is testament to this. A bunch of tweets/threads that I really jammed with.

Anyway, let’s get to it 🙂

1/ Loom’s PMF Strategy

One of my go-to async tools for remote teams is Loom. They undoubtedly achieved PMF relatively early

I came across this awesome graphic to help visualise Product-Market Fit (PMF) - finding PMF is like an equation.

Does your position in the market (based on how painfully your ICP feels the problem) and how effectively your product solves that problem, justify the price you’re charging?

If you want to understand how this model can you achieve PMF and be introduced to a new mental model, read my LinkedIn post on this here.

2/ Tim Ferriss’ Words of Wisdom

Maaaan this came at a good time.

We all need to take ownership of our lives, and stop blaming for others for any misdemeanours or things not working out for us.

We are the architects that can shape whether we have a good life or not.

3/ How to Make your Home Life Happier

Some good reminders for a happy home life - it goes so far to focus on the getting better WITH your partner each day.

4/ Leadership Lessons from Jeff Bezos

Some great life lessons here from this Bezos vid - a few i’m highlighting:

  1. You don't choose a passion, a passion chooses you

  2. Take pride in your effort, not your talents

  3. Be stubborn on vision, and flexible on details

5/ How to get rid of belly fat

This thread is gold - its simple to follow and easy for anyone to run with.

It breaks things down into simple steps, meal plans, workout routines and also includes an easy to purchase (and cheap!) grocery list.

Would def recommend checking this out in full.

That’s a wrap - let me know your favourite link 🙂

Till next week,

Fahim ✌️
